This Privacy Policy explains how MedXY collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use our websites, applications, account login features, Facebook Login, Google Login, and related medical AI services. MedXY is operated by AIMedSci Inc., a California, United States corporation.
1. Information We Collect
When you use MedXY, we may collect account information such as your name, email address, avatar, login provider, and account identifier.
When you choose Facebook Login, we request only the permissions needed to create or access your MedXY account, such as your public profile and email address, depending on what Facebook makes available to us.
We may also collect technical information such as device type, browser type, IP address, approximate location, access time, pages visited, and service logs to keep the service secure and reliable.
2. How We Use Information
We use your information to create and authenticate your account, provide MedXY services, personalize your experience, maintain security, troubleshoot issues, and communicate service-related updates.
Information received from Facebook Login is used only for account login, account matching, user identification, and profile display inside MedXY.
We do not sell personal information received through Facebook Login.
3. Medical and User-Generated Content
MedXY may allow users to submit questions, documents, messages, or other content for AI-assisted medical information retrieval and decision support.
You should not submit information that you are not authorized to share. If you include personal health information, it may be processed to provide the requested service.
MedXY is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
4. Sharing and Disclosure
We may share information with service providers who help us operate hosting, authentication, analytics, security, support, and AI service infrastructure.
We may disclose information when required by law, to protect users and the service, or in connection with a business transfer such as a merger, acquisition, or asset sale.
We do not share Facebook Login data with third parties for advertising or resale.
5. Data Retention
We retain account information for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.
Authentication logs and security records may be retained for a limited period to detect abuse, prevent fraud, and maintain platform integrity.
6. Cookies, Analytics, and Your Choices
We use essential cookies required for security, authentication, session continuity, and saving your cookie choice. These cookies are necessary for the service to operate.
With your permission, we may enable non-essential performance and analytics technologies, including Google Analytics and Baidu services. They may collect technical and usage information such as device and browser characteristics, pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP address, referral information, and interaction data.
Non-essential analytics are disabled by default. You may accept them, reject them, or change your choice later through Cookie Settings. Rejecting non-essential cookies will not prevent use of core site functions.
7. Your Choices and Data Deletion
You may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us.
To request deletion of data associated with Facebook Login, email support@medxy.ai with the subject “Facebook Data Deletion Request” and include the email address or account identifier used for your MedXY account.
You may also remove MedXY from your Facebook account settings. After receiving a verified deletion request, we will delete or anonymize applicable account data unless retention is required by law or legitimate security purposes.
8. Medical Information and AI-Assisted Content
MedXY may use AI and other editorial tools to help create, organize, summarize, translate, or retrieve content. AI-assisted content may be incomplete, outdated, inaccurate, or unsuitable for a particular person or situation and should be independently reviewed by an appropriately qualified professional.
All platform content, including articles, answers, tools, and calculators, is provided for general educational and health-information purposes only. It does not provide medical advice and must not be used as a substitute for a clinician’s diagnosis, treatment, or individualized medical judgment.
If you need medical help, seek advice from your own physician or another qualified healthcare professional. For an emergency, contact local emergency services immediately.
9. Educational Calculators and Intellectual Property
MedXY calculators are offered without charge for education and learning. They are not medical devices, do not replace clinical judgment, and may not be appropriate for every population or clinical setting.
Some calculator names, scoring systems, formulas, citations, and source materials may be associated with third-party rights. MedXY does not claim ownership of third-party intellectual property. If you are an author or rights holder and believe content should be removed, corrected, or access-limited, please submit a copyright complaint through our Help page or email fbzhang@gmail.com. We will review substantiated requests and may remove or restrict content where appropriate.
