Raccoon Run: How to Play
What is Raccoon Run?
Raccoon Run is an original browser endless runner built with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Canvas. Guide a raccoon through City, Wild and Snow environments while collecting Starfruit and avoiding obstacles.
Controls and goals
- Move left or right with the arrow keys, A/D, a sideways swipe, or the screen buttons.
- Jump with Up, W, Space, or an upward swipe. Slide with Down, S, or a downward swipe.
- Low barriers require a jump; overhead gates require a slide. Large blocks can be avoided by changing lanes or jumping high.
- The scene changes every 700 metres. Speed increases gradually, so look ahead rather than reacting only when an obstacle reaches the raccoon.
- Signed-in runs enter the leaderboard and can earn Starfruit. Shared Dojo Shop Starfruit unlocks additional raccoon appearances.
Potential activity and skill value
Quick direction choices may practise visual attention, reaction timing and hand-eye coordination. Touch play adds repeated finger and hand movements, while keyboard play practises rapid switching between directional controls. These are general play-related skills, not proven treatment effects.
Play comfortably
- Keep the screen at a comfortable height and brightness and relax your shoulders and wrists.
- Take regular breaks, especially after repeated fast swipes or key presses.
- Stop if you notice eye strain, headache, pain, numbness or dizziness.
- Children should use age-appropriate screen-time limits and adult supervision.
Raccoon Run is for entertainment and general skill practice. It does not diagnose, treat or rehabilitate any condition.
