AI Motion Fruit Slicing: How to Play and Activity Value
What is this game?
AI Motion Fruit Slicing is a browser game built primarily with HTML, JavaScript, and Canvas. With camera mode enabled, hand positions control two virtual blades. You can also slice by dragging a mouse or swiping on a touchscreen.
What do you need?
- A computer, tablet, or phone with a camera; a mouse or touchscreen also works without camera tracking.
- A modern browser with camera permission, opened over HTTPS or localhost.
- About 1.5–2.5 metres of clear space in front of the device for camera play.
- If casting to a television, place the computer or phone on a stable support rather than holding it while moving.
How to play
- Select Start Game and choose Classic, Arcade, or Fitness mode.
- Allow camera access, stand near the centre of the image, and raise your hands slowly to confirm that both blades follow you.
- Move your arms to slice fruit; in Classic mode, avoid bombs.
- Adjust game speed to match your available space, comfort, and reaction speed.
- Signed-in scores can enter the leaderboard and earn Starfruit. Points can also be exchanged for Starfruit at the administrator-set rate and spent on shared Dojo Shop items.
Potential activity benefits
Games like this may turn some sedentary screen time into active play. Repeated reaching and changes of direction may increase movement of the hands, wrists, elbows, and shoulders. Watching moving targets and timing each slice may also practise visual tracking, reaction, and hand-eye coordination. Two-hand play adds a challenge of coordinating or alternating movements on both sides.
These are general activity benefits, not proof that the game treats a condition, improves a specific impairment, or replaces regular exercise. Calories, distance, and swing counts are estimates and should not be used for medical or training prescriptions.
Play safely
- Clear nearby furniture edges, glass, cables, pets, and other obstacles.
- Begin with a short, slow session and increase difficulty gradually; forceful swings are unnecessary.
- Keep wrists comfortable and avoid holding the shoulders overhead for long periods.
- Stop immediately if you develop pain, numbness, dizziness, chest discomfort, or other concerning symptoms.
- Anyone with a recent upper-limb injury, post-operative restrictions, balance problems, or exercise contraindications should seek advice from a qualified healthcare professional first.
- Children should play with adult supervision and a securely positioned device.
Camera privacy
Camera images are used for motion tracking in the browser. Before playing, make sure the camera view does not include people or sensitive information you do not want visible. Mouse and touch controls are available when you prefer not to use a camera.
