Primary Aldosteronism Severity Classification (PASC)
Three-item severity score for primary aldosteronism to stratify disease severity and guide adrenal venous sampling decisions.
Select the patient's potassium range, basal plasma aldosterone concentration range, and blood pressure severity category. Use the lowest potassium without supplementation and the average of 2-3 PAC measurements when values vary.

Use the lowest measured potassium without potassium supplementation.
Basal plasma aldosterone concentration (PAC)
Use the average of 2-3 values if there is variability. Thresholds shown in pg/mL, with ng/dL equivalents in parentheses.
Blood pressure control / grade
Controlled treated blood pressure or untreated Grade I / high-normal blood pressure scores 1 point. Grade II scores 2 points. Grade III scores 3 points.
